CUSTOMER FEEDBACK:

Donovan spent last week with us here at the IAT WSU for the primary purpose of developing and fully testing the NX post processor for our DMU 50 eco 5-axis CNC Milling Machine. In addition, I wanted him to provide my staff (who lack hands-on experience in CNC Milling) with some specific "on-the-job" type training so that they could get a good grounding and understanding running specifically 3+2 type NC machining.

On his last day here, I asked him for your contact details so that I could write you a review on his work here. I am very happy to report that he more than exceeded my expectations. He not only developed and tested the postprocessor (within the stipulated time allowed for), but he also went the extra mile with helping us machine quite a complex part on behalf of a client as a technology demonstrator. Typically people are normally only comfortable demonstrating CAM and NC machining of a part that they know well and have practiced as a standard demo. This was not the case with Donovan. He took one of our parts (which he had never seen before), helped us develop the CAM program from scratch and machine the part, with the relatively limited cutting tools that we had in stock and produce a first class off-machine sample that is perfectly acceptable as a real world example of a "production" type component.

What makes Donovan unique and, in my opinion, such an asset to ESTEQ is that he has real machining experience (in addition to his software knowledge of course). This is invaluable and it really shows when hardware is involved. All those tips and tricks that he was able to advise us on are not book learnt. This only comes from experience. Furthermore his conduct was exceptionally professional during his time with us. Also, probably one of the most important and overlooked aspect is that he staunchly promoted safety in the workshop.

I would therefore like to thank him personally and ESTEQ for the trainining and development work provided. The work exceeded our expectations and was worth every cent of payment.
