The optoNCDT 1420 laser sensors are one of its kind. It’s compact and offers a high measurement accuracy and measuring rate. This enables dynamic displacement, distance and position measurements up to 4kHz. It offers a unique combination of speed, size, performance and application flexibility. It can be applied to a wide variety of fields, due to it being smallest laser sensor worldwide with a 500mm measuring range.

The compact optoNCDT 1420 is used in warehouse logistics, sorting tasks, robotics and warehouse automation. It is however also used in wood processing, electronics production, laser engraving equipment, medical engineering and machine building.

Background signals can be filtered out using the ROI (region of interest) function while easy measurement tasks can be performed by using the multifunction button which enables quick sensor commissioning. It allows you to measure displacement, distance, and position on a non-contact, wear-free basis. The laser also competes with a good price/performance ratio, has a helpful web interface and is user-friendly.
