Jack and Process Simulate Human enable you to improve the efficiency, comfort and safety of the workplace environment with virtual ergonomic studies using digital human models. safety, efficiency and comfort of your workplace environment using digital human models. The human models are scaled according to different population parameters to ensure maximum accuracy. Some of the factors that can be tested include injury risk, reachability, user comfort, energy expenditure, line-of-sight, fatigue limits and timing.

Variation Analysis (VSA) is a dimensional analysis tool used to simulate assembly and manufacturing processes in order to predict the causes and degrees of variation. A digital representation of the actual part/assembly is used to create a comprehensive illustration of geometry, product variation, tolerances, measurements and assembly process variation (which can be apparent in the assembly attachement definition, sequence or tooling). This digital prototype is used to predict if there will be any assembly build problems, before any tooling is cut or physical parts are made.

Variation Analysis can benefit through decreaseing the negative impact of variation on product dimensional quality, time to market and cost. Variation Analysis’ foundation lies within Teamcenter Lifecycle Visualization which enables the leveraging of the visualisation and digital prototyping capabilities of Lifecycle Visualization Mockup.
